"A cut above the rest"

A haircut is something that people look forward to and a trip to Gary Henri is no exception.

I’m one of those people that get irrationally panicky when having their hair cut and I have often been told I look quite scared while in the hot seat. However, at Gary Henri I was made to feel completely at ease.

On arrival at the salon I received a warm greeting followed by a complimentary glass of champagne – immediately I knew I was in good hands and that hairdressing is more than just a quick chop for the staff at Gary Henri. I was made to feel at ease as my stylist kept me chatting but was sure to keep me involved in what she was doing to my hair.

It’s clear to me that Gary Henri prides itself on the experience of its staff, something that is passed from artistic director right through to those just beginning their training. A treatment at this salon doesn’t have to be as pricey as people may think - with a training academy situated below the main salon in Clifton there is something for everyone.

I was surprised to find out that Gary Henri also has a beautician based at the salon, providing the perfect opportunity to completely pamper yourself in a light, airy and vibrant salon. There is none of that dashing from the hairdressers to the beauty salon only to realise that your newly styled hair is all over the place! As a result of this, Gary Henri is a great choice for brides and other special occasions. The ease of parking and relaxing atmosphere means that all you need to do is turn up and by the time you leave you’ll be ready for your big day.

If you’re more of a DIY hair stylist then Gary Henri are more than happy to advise you on some top of the range products and supply you with those precious GHDs.

Gary Henri is a well-established salon that has been making clients happy for over 40 years and this in itself is testament to the quality of service that each individual receives. If you haven’t tried it already then I really do recommend a visit."
